Summer is here and it’s time to glow! Skincare as you all know is very important to me and rocking that summer glow is something that I plan to do all summer long, with the right skincare routine that is. I tend to switch up my skincare routine with the seasons depending on what my skin needs. That being said, please keep in mind that it takes your skin about 21 days to get used to a new routine!

I recently received my first PR box from PIXI Beauty and as a result decided to try their new Glow Tonic collection. I learned real quick what products I shouldn’t use at night. I can’t sleep if my skin can’t breathe and some of these products are heavier than I’d like.

First up is the face of the line, PIXI’s Glow Tonic. The Glow Tonic is a gentle but invigorating toner that deeply cleans your pores. The main reason I love this toner is simply because it doesn’t burn when it touches acne prone parts of my face.

Price: $15-$29

A new addition to the Glow Tonic line is a gentle exfoliating cleanser. The Glow Tonic Cleanser was created to exfoliate and clean your skin without stripping it of essential moisture. Although it doesn’t lather it deeply cleans and leaves my skin feeling fresh!

Price: $18-$20

The next two items in the line are both items I do not recommend using in your nightly routine. The Glow Tonic Serum and pHemonenal Gel are both very heavy products, in my opinion. The Glow Tonic Serum is said to be a lightweight serum but only if you follow the direction to a T. For instance, the bottle says 2-3 drops but doesn’t specify how big of drops. Make sure the drops are small unless you want to feel all greasy afterwards.

Price: $24-$29

Likewise, the pHenomenal Gel is one where a little bit goes a long way. The pHenomenal Gel is a pH balancing moisturizer that makes my skin feel like a dream. The instructions say use a coin sized amount but I use a small, pea sized amount that still leaves my skin feeling amazing.

Price: $24

Lastly, we have the On The Glow moisturizer stick. This product at first confused me because you can use it in your hair, on your face, and your lips. I don’t know who would use this in your hair but.. you do you.  I enjoy using this product as a chap stick to help keep my lips moisturized underneath my drying liquid lippies.

Price: $18

To sum it all up, these products are all amazing and perfect for a first time PIXI user. I had never used any PIXI products before this package arrived and I am sold. Not only do they create amazing products but they do not test on animals!
