Mother’s Day is right around the corner. This coming Mother’s Day will be the second time that I celebrate Mother’s Day as a mother myself. When I was younger I never really wanted to be a mom. I didn’t really like to take care of kids. It just wasn’t my thing. I mean, I never even held a baby until my son was born. That feeling soon changed after I became pregnant with Joshua. I never knew that it was possible for me to love someone so much until I had my little boy. Especially after being knee deep in postpartum mental illness the love I began feel for my son is tremendous.
