Easter is right around the corner. Like literally only a few days away. That being said I know many families out there probably want the fun and memories of coloring Easter eggs with their little ones. To be honest I was dreading it this year. We just moved and I wasn’t ready for the mess I knew it would bring but we did it anyways.

Let’s face it being a mom you are full of questions. Whether you are a first timer or you have a circus full of monkeys you have questions. From day one I have always had questions on feeding Joshua. Is he getting enough milk when he nurses?, Is it okay for him to eat this now?, He hasn’t pooped in forever… what do I do?, and lately the question has been what is the best thing for him to eat since he eats ALL. THE. TIME.?

If your toddler is anything like mine they don’t stop moving… they are busy little bees. In the past Joshua’s breakfast has consisted of multiple bananas, because they are quick and he is incredibly impatient when it comes to waiting for his food to be ready. He wants his food immediately so he can have all the time to play. This spring I decided to change that up and try something new for him. Anything that I had to prepare was out of the question though. I knew I had to find something that was quick and easy if I wanted to keep up with my never stopping toddler.
At the beginning of March for Joshua’s, and my older brother’s, birthday we decided to check out the Lubbock Science Spectrum. We are still very new to the area so this was a huge first for us. We had heard about it but didn’t really know what to expect. To sum it up the day was insane. Joshua was in heaven. There was so much to do, and I guess you could say my brother was in heaven because he was able to take ALLLLL the pictures. That being said be prepared for A LOT of photos in this blog post as well a small review of the Science Spectrum!
