As most of you know my first box was a HUGE HIT. Everything fit except one item but it fit well enough for me not to care so I had high hopes for my next box. When I opened my monthly box I was so excited to see a few of the items but not so excited to see some other items. I will be hitting the good parts of the box first because there are some items that I absolutely loved!
The first item was a lace pair of panties that tie on each side. These aren’t any ordinary panties they are crotchless panties!!! My Silk Rewards definitely stepped it up on the sexy this go around!
I noticed an overall theme to this months box and that theme was BLACK! Which black is sexy and one of my favorite “colors” if you call it a color, so I definitely didn’t mind. The beauty and self care items that came with this box we a charcoal bath bomb and some fun body oils!
So the next item in my box was really one that I didn’t care for when I saw it. More Shapewear. I just didn’t like being sent shapewear back to back when I rarely use the one I was sent last time. The amount of times I use shapewear can be counted on one hand. That all being said your boxes can be customized to you so if you don’t want to grow your shapewear collection be sure to let them know so you don’t get something you will virtually never use.
The last item in my box was something I was super excited for… my first piece of actual lingerie from My Silk Rewards. Yes, I have received basic bra and now the crotchless panties but when I think lingerie subscription box I think thongs, babydolls, and different kinds of sexy lingerie. I recieved a sexy black babydoll with a matching thong but when I looked at the babydoll my heart sunk back down into my chest. It was too small, there was no way I could even try to squeeze into it.
That being said if you receive items that are too small and you haven’t tried them on you can exchange them for a bigger size…. that will come in your next box. If you cancel your subscription I am not sure if you will be able to exchange but I know I still have the babydoll that is too small for me. When sending your sizes I highly recommend sending your exact measurements so you can do your best to avoid this problem.
My second box left me wanting a little more but the items that I got that I loved were still worth the price because if I were to go to my local lingerie shop and buy some body oils, panties, and a bath bomb I would be spending at least $60.
