When I first dyed my hair red YEARS ago I was told to stay away from anything red. I was told that I couldn’t rock red makeup with my red hair because it just wouldn’t look good… and I lived by that. I saw others rocking it but believed that red on red would NEVER look good on me, so I steered clear of it until recently.

Recently I decided to say screw what those people said and take the plunge. I have always been obsessed with red lipstick from the time I was a tiny tot and I recently became obsessed with red eye shadow, thanks to Tash Cosmetics. I decided to prove the naysayers wrong and prove them wrong I did. I received so many complements about this look and was told that I should rock it more often.

This Cherry Bomb makeup look, as I call it, was created with a combination of a few pink blushes, The Devil Wears Prada loose pigment from Tash Cosmetics, and the shade Palace from my Tarte Treasure Chest.

The lashes featured in this look are from Sephora and are the Fringe #04 that I received in the Sephora Mood Lash Vault this past Christmas. (Right now the Lash vault, valued at $87, is on sale for $40!!!!)

Once I created this look and threw on a super comfy ad stylish crop top sweatshirt from AMIClubwear I was ready to slay the day. I felt confident, I felt fierce, and I felt sexy for the first time in a long time, I felt empowered.

This Cherry Bomb look is definitely my new go to when it comes to being dramatic and being bold!

I love creating makeup looks and love sharing them with you. What colors do you want to see me rock next? Let me know below! If you don’t have a makeup look idea then let me know what makes you feel fierce and empowered below!
