Bath Time with little ones call for extra care and a watchful eye. Nowadays not only do you have to watch your child in the bath but you have to watch what products you get. Joshua was born with sensitive skin so we have learned that we have to watch what we put on him. When he was itty-bitty he had acne worse than most teenagers and then as he grew older we found out that he had eczema that can be triggered by certain ingredients in detergents, body washes, and lotions.
Finding products that aren’t drying to Joshua’s skin or scalp can definitely be a challenge. My husband will be the first to tell you that I have high standards when it comes to hair care or skin care, and he is not lying. I spent over a year working in a grocery store selling vegan and certified organic products. In that time I had to take many webinars and educate myself on the difference of natural skincare vs the other stuff.
When our budget allows I tend to at least keep Joshua and I stocked on those kind of products because we both have sensitive skin. Among the many products we have tried, one of our favorites is SoCozy. Sometime last year we discovered the regular SoCozy line and I fell in love! Not only was Joshua using it but so was I! I love that I found a hair care brand that we could both use. It made shopping easier and was perfect for Joshua’s skin and scalp.
Recently we switched things up a bit as I received SoCozy’s new HUSH line. The HUSH line was actually formulated for children and babies with sensitive skin. This line currently only has four products: the 2-in-1 Shampoo & Conditioner, Styling Foam, Leave-In Detangler, and Scalp Serum.
Joshua has very little hair meaning he didn’t really need the detangler so I get some use out of that with my curly hair and we haven’t really had to use the scalp serum much but it definitely smells good. I am absolutely in love with the 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner because of the tube it is in.
You can purchase SoCozy online if you don’t get out much like me. You can also purchase SoCozy products at participating Target while you are getting some coffee, and exploring the wonders of Target or you can purchase SoCozy products at a participating Ulta store while you are splurging on that new eyeshadow palette you’ve been eyeballing.
Does your child have sensitive skin? What is your favorite bath time products? I’d love to hear in the comments!
